BlueSoup AI Auto Linker is an AI-powered internal linking plugin for WordPress that helps improve SEO by finding smart, contextual internal link opportunities across your content.
Instead of blindly linking keywords everywhere, the plugin uses OpenAI to analyze your pages and posts, understand context, and recommend natural internal links that improve user experience and site structure.
This helps strengthen your internal linking strategy, improve crawlability, surface older content, and support better on-page SEO.
Note: This plugin requires your own OpenAI API key. AI tokens are not included. You pay OpenAI directly for usage. Using the default gpt-4.1-mini model, a typical scan costs a fraction of a cent.

OpenAI API (api.openai.com)
Used to generate AI-powered internal link suggestions. Your page content and a list of your other pages are sent to OpenAI when you click “Generate AI Suggestions.” This only happens when you explicitly trigger a scan. You must provide your own OpenAI API key.

Used to display information about other BlueSoup plugins on the admin page. A small JSON file is fetched via a GET request and cached for 7 days. No data is sent. This request only occurs within the WordPress admin dashboard and never on the public front end.
