Records who did what on the site — content published or deleted, users created, roles changed, plugins switched on — with the address it came from.
Content published, updated, unpublished, trashed and deleted for good
Media uploaded and deleted, with the file name
Sign-ins, sign-outs and failed sign-ins
Users created and deleted, and role changes with the old role and the new one
Plugins activated and deactivated, themes switched
Changes to the settings worth watching — site title, address, registration, default role
Revisions, autosaves and menu items deliberately ignored, so the log stays readable
Filter by action, by user, or search by name, user or address
Fully translatable. Translations are handled by translate.wordpress.org,
so no language files ship with the plugin.
