Free vs. Digispot Cloud
Everything above is free and runs in your WordPress site. An optional Digispot AI account adds managed AI credits, unlimited full-site crawls, 24/7 Core Web Vitals monitoring and competitor tracking.
Trademarks
Rank Math, Yoast SEO, All in One SEO (AIOSEO), SEOPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, Google, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Bing and DeepSeek are trademarks of their respective owners. They are named only to describe compatibility, data import and integrations. Digispot AI is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
Third-Party Services
This plugin relies on the following third-party services. Each entry states what is
sent and when. No data leaves your site until you connect or configure the relevant
service.

Digispot AI API (https://api.digispot.ai, OAuth proxy https://wordpress.digispot.ai):
Powers managed AI generation, rank tracking, backlink data, and the free lookups (keyword
demand, Chrome UX Report web vitals, domain age, PageSpeed). Page content, titles, and prompts
are sent only when you run an AI action or a cloud-backed report; keywords you research or set
as focus keywords, your Search Console query strings, and your site’s URLs are sent only for
those lookups. All of this happens only after you connect a Digispot account, and answers are
cached in your WordPress database to avoid repeat calls. The OAuth proxy is contacted only during Google sign-in,
so you never have to paste a Google Client ID.

* Digispot Privacy Policy

Google APIs (OAuth 2.0):
Displays your Search Console, Analytics 4, and Business Profile data. Contacted only after
you complete the Google OAuth flow. Retrieved data is stored locally in your WordPress
database to speed up loading. Hosts used: accounts.google.com (sign-in),
www.googleapis.com (Search Console), analyticsdata.googleapis.com and
analyticsadmin.googleapis.com (Analytics 4), mybusiness.googleapis.com,
mybusinessaccountmanagement.googleapis.com,
mybusinessbusinessinformation.googleapis.com and
businessprofileperformance.googleapis.com (Business Profile).

* Google Terms of Service

AI providers (opt-in, bring your own key):
Digispot AI supports using your own API key with an external AI provider instead of the
managed Digispot service. No content is sent to any of these providers until you
explicitly select one and enter your own API key. When enabled, the content you ask the
plugin to optimize (such as a post title, excerpt, or body) is sent to the provider you
chose:

* OpenAI – https://api.openai.com – Terms | Privacy
* Anthropic – https://api.anthropic.com – Terms | Privacy
* Google Gemini – https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com – Terms | Privacy
* DeepSeek – https://api.deepseek.com – Terms | Privacy

IndexNow (https://api.indexnow.org):
If you enable IndexNow, the URLs of posts you publish or update are POSTed to the IndexNow
API so participating search engines can recrawl them. Only URLs and your generated
IndexNow key are sent – never page content.

* IndexNow Documentation and Terms

Anonymous usage telemetry (opt-in, OFF by default) (https://api.digispot.ai):
If — and only if — you switch this on in the plugin settings, Digispot AI reports three
lifecycle events (plugin activated, deactivated, uninstalled) so we can see how many sites
use the plugin and why people stop. When you deactivate, you may optionally pick a reason;
that reason is sent with the event. Nothing is sent while this setting is off, which is
how it ships. What is sent: an opaque random install identifier, the event name, and the
plugin, WordPress and PHP version numbers. What is never sent: your site URL, your email,
usernames, post content, or any other data that identifies you or your site.

* Digispot Privacy Policy

Crawler IP range lists and IP network lookups (crawl log module only):
The crawl log module downloads the IP-range lists crawler operators publish, to check that
visiting bots are genuine: Google (https://developers.google.com), Microsoft Bing
(https://www.bing.com), OpenAI (https://openai.com), Perplexity (https://www.perplexity.ai),
Apple (https://search.developer.apple.com), DuckDuckGo (https://duckduckgo.com), Common Crawl
(https://index.commoncrawl.org), Ahrefs (https://api.ahrefs.com) and Mistral AI
(https://mistral.ai). These are read-only downloads, once a day; no data about your site is sent.
To show which network a crawler request came from, the IP address of that crawler request (never
a human visitor’s) is looked up in Team Cymru’s public IP-to-ASN DNS service
(origin.asn.cymru.com) or, if that fails, in the public internet registries through
https://rdap.org. Only the crawler IP address is sent.

Google PageSpeed Insights API (https://www.googleapis.com/pagespeedonline/v5/runPagespeed):
Used for Core Web Vitals and page-speed reports. Contacted only after you add your own
PageSpeed Insights API key in Settings. The public URL of the page being tested and your
API key are sent – never page content or visitor data.

* Google APIs Terms of Service
* Google Privacy Policy

Google Fonts (https://fonts.googleapis.com):
When you generate an Elementor page from a design that uses Google Fonts, that page loads
the chosen font stylesheets from Google Fonts on the front end. Visitors’ browsers then
request the fonts from Google, which receives their IP address. Pages that were not
generated with Google Fonts never contact this service.

* Google Fonts Privacy FAQ
* Google Privacy Policy

Google Search status feed (https://status.search.google.com/incidents.json):
While the Google services module is on, the plugin downloads Google’s public Search status
feed about once an hour, so Google updates and outages show on your dashboard and charts.
It is a read-only download; nothing about your site is sent.

* Google Privacy Policy

Websites your pages link to (broken link checks):
While Broken links is on (it is on by default), the plugin checks the links in your
published posts and pages in the background, a few at a time and never more than two per
website in each run. For a link to another website it requests only that link’s address
(a HEAD request, or a GET for the first kilobyte when HEAD is refused) and records the status
code. Nothing about your site is sent beyond the request itself, whose user agent names the
plugin and your site’s address. Addresses on private networks are never requested. Turn off
“Check links to other sites” under Technical SEO → Broken links, list sites to skip there, or
turn the module off in Settings → Modules.

Google tag (gtag.js) (https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js):
Only if you switch on “Install tracking tag” in Settings → Connections (off by default), your
pages load Google’s tag with your Google Analytics measurement ID. Visitors’ browsers then send
page views and the events you chose (phone and email clicks, form submissions, shop sales) to
Google Analytics, which receives their IP address and browser details. Visitors in the EU, the UK
and Switzerland are measured without cookies until they accept in your consent banner. No email
address, phone number or name is ever sent in an event.

* Google Analytics Terms of Service
* Google Privacy Policy

Video sites you embed (video schema) (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and the other video sites WordPress embeds):
When a page has an embedded video and automatic video schema is on (it is on by default), the
plugin asks that video site for the video’s public title, description, thumbnail and length,
using WordPress’s own embed (oEmbed) client, so it can describe the video for search engines.
Only the video’s address is sent. This also runs once in the background for pages published
before the plugin was installed. Answers are saved with the page and refreshed about once a month.
Turn it off with the video schema switch, or set a Video type on the page yourself.
