原文外掛簡介
Waypoint SEO Content Generator is an AI content generator that drafts articles for your site using the AI provider you connect to WordPress. Everything runs on your own hosting. There is no content pipeline through anyone else’s servers, no account to create, and this version sends no data to the plugin author at all.
It is built around a simple position: automated content is only worth publishing if it is grounded in a real business and read by a real person before it goes live. The plugin enforces both mechanically rather than asking you to promise them.
How it works
You fill in a site profile — what your business does, who it serves, and the firsthand experience only you have. This is injected into every prompt. Generation is disabled until it is complete.
The plugin indexes your existing content so it knows what you have already covered and can link to it.
You give it a title, keyword, and angle on the dashboard and start a run.
The article is written section by section, measured against a word target and expanded where it comes up short, so the result is a long-form SEO article rather than a thin summary.
A draft is created. Never a published post.
What makes this different
No external backend. All logic runs in the plugin, on your host.
No API key handling. This AI writer uses WordPress’s built-in AI client and whatever provider you connect under Settings → Connectors. It never asks for, stores, or transmits a provider key.
Long-form by construction. Sections are written against a word budget and expanded when short, rather than asking a model for an article and hoping.
Gutenberg blocks, not HTML soup. Output is real blocks you can edit normally.
SEO fields written for you. Title, description, and focus keyword are written to Yoast, Rank Math, or SEOPress if you use one, with the plugin’s own Article JSON-LD as a fallback when you do not.
Internal links from your own index. Drafts link to relevant posts you have already published.
Near-duplicate prevention. Every published post gets a similarity fingerprint. A draft too close to existing content is blocked before it is created.
Draft by default. Auto-publish is an explicit, off-by-default opt-in.
Human review gate. On by default: a generated post cannot be published until a person has opened and saved it.
Review notifications. Your site emails you when drafts are waiting — immediately, daily, or weekly. A review gate nobody knows about is not a review gate.
Real author attribution. Drafts are attributed to an actual user account. The plugin does not create expert personas or fake bylines.
Cost visible up front. An estimate per article sits next to the frequency controls, so nothing is a surprise on your provider’s bill.
Recovery tools from day one. Bulk noindex and bulk unpublish for all generated content, in one click.
Nothing in this version is metered, counted, or waiting for a key. It writes as many articles as you configure, to any public post type. Articles are written as text; you add your own images in the editor.
Please read this before you use it
Google’s spam policies on scaled content abuse apply to your whole site, not just to generated pages. Publishing large volumes of unhelpful content can affect how your entire domain is treated in search.
This plugin gives you tools to publish content that is genuinely useful. It cannot judge whether any particular article is. That judgement is yours, and it is why the review gate is on by default and the shipped frequency is two posts per week rather than one a day.
The honest advice: publish fewer, better articles. Read every draft. Add what only you know. If a draft does not deserve to exist, delete it.
External services
AI provider (required). Generated text comes from whichever AI provider you have connected to WordPress under Settings → Connectors. WordPress core owns that connection; this plugin does not choose the provider, never sees or stores its credentials, and has no relationship with it.
What is sent, and when: each time you start a run, the plugin sends your site profile, the title, keyword and angle you entered, the headings of the outline it is working through, and the titles of your own existing posts it is considering linking to. Nothing is sent unless you start a run.
The provider is whichever one you installed and connected. Review that provider’s terms and privacy policy before use — the common choices are:
Google (AI Provider for Google) — terms: https://policies.google.com/terms — privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
OpenAI (AI Provider for OpenAI) — terms: https://openai.com/policies/terms-of-use — privacy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
Anthropic (AI Provider for Anthropic) — terms: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/consumer-terms — privacy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
Nothing else. This version contacts no server belonging to Waypoint Software USA under any configuration, and makes no other outbound request of its own.
Bundled libraries
This plugin bundles Action Scheduler (https://actionscheduler.org/), a GPLv3 background-processing library, to run generation as a chain of small background jobs. Because Action Scheduler is GPLv3, the combined distributed package is effectively GPLv3. The plugin’s own code is licensed GPL-2.0-or-later, whose “or later” clause makes that combination permitted.
Pro version
A separately distributed paid version, sold at waypointsoftwareusa.com and not part of this download, adds unattended scheduling so drafts arrive without anyone clicking; batch topic planning and keyword suggestions drawn from your content index; competitor topic-gap analysis; researched citations that are searched, fetched, and verified live before they are rendered as links; and generated featured and inline images, sideloaded into your media library with alt text. Those modules’ code is not in this version at all — this is a smaller plugin, not a restricted one. The paid version also updates itself from our servers rather than from WordPress.org, and it is the only version that contacts a server of ours or contains a license key field.
