vBridge AI Chat Assistant adds a floating chat widget to your WordPress site. Visitors can ask questions and receive streamed replies from an AI provider you configure. You can optionally index published pages, posts, and other public post types so answers stay closer to your own content.
This plugin is an interface to third-party AI services. You provide your own API key. vBridge Tech Ltd does not proxy or bill those requests.
The plugin talks to OpenAI and Gemini with the site owner’s keys so it works on WordPress 6.5+ and keeps provider choice inside this plugin. WordPress 7.0’s AI Client is not required.

Third-party services
When a visitor sends a chat message, the plugin sends the message (and, if enabled, retrieved site content) to the provider you selected:
OpenAI — Terms and Privacy policy
Google Gemini — Terms and Privacy policy
No request is sent until you save an API key and a visitor (or you) uses the chat widget.
Claude and Ollama appear in settings as upcoming providers and are not live yet.
Credits
The widget UI uses the Outfit typeface (SIL Open Font License), bundled locally.
Privacy
The plugin stores API keys (encrypted), widget settings, indexed content chunks, and chat transcripts on your WordPress site. Chat text is also sent to the AI provider you configure. Review that provider’s privacy policy before enabling the widget on a public site.
