PS Monitor & Alerts for Telegram sends selected WordPress, WooCommerce, login, update, stock, cart, checkout, and system events to a Telegram destination chosen by the site administrator.
WooCommerce is optional. WordPress monitoring, Telegram delivery, diagnostics, and support tools continue to work when WooCommerce is not installed.
What Lite includes
Telegram bot connection and delivery tests.
WordPress administrator alerts for logins, users, plugins, updates, recovery, and critical errors.
WooCommerce administrator alerts for orders, payments, status changes, refunds, stock, cart, coupon, and checkout activity.
Delivery queue with retry, backoff, dead-letter handling, deduplication, and health diagnostics.
Clear separation between current delivery health and historical permanent delivery failures.
Secure credential loading from wp-config.php or server environment variables.
One-time fourteen-day database setup while Secure Mode is being prepared.
Local site-notice tests and approved remote-notice controls.
Product-specific consent controls for optional PS Tools remote services.
Built-in documentation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting inside WordPress administration.

Message design
Built-in Telegram messages use layouts suited to the event type:
Cart activity uses a compact WooCommerce activity layout.
Orders, payments, refunds, and stock use commerce-focused layouts.
Security events use a high-visibility security layout.
WordPress changes and operational reports use separate layouts.
Custom message-template overrides are preserved when provided by compatible extensions.
Secure setup
Secure Mode loads the Bot Token and destination Chat ID from wp-config.php or server environment variables instead of keeping long-term credentials in the WordPress database.
A temporary database setup is available for up to fourteen days to help with initial configuration. After that period, Secure Mode is required.
Premium add-on compatibility
A separately distributed Premium add-on can extend the Lite plugin with customer Telegram notifications, customer opt-in, Quiet Hours, editable templates, advanced routing, email monitoring, Security Monitor, GeoIP enrichment with separate consent, licensed updates, and compatible PS Tools integrations such as Smart Booking.
Premium code, private update logic, Smart Booking recipient routing, and Web3 event consumption are not included in this WordPress.org package. Lite remains functional without Premium.
External Services
The plugin contacts an external service only when the related feature is configured or explicitly approved.
Telegram Bot API
The Telegram Bot API is used to verify the configured bot and deliver alert messages selected by the site administrator.
Depending on enabled alerts, data sent to Telegram may include the site name and URL, event title, WooCommerce order or stock details, masked email-delivery information, security-event details, an IP address, and selected message-template fields. The administrator controls the Bot Token and destination Chat ID.

PS Tools Remote Services
The plugin does not contact PS Tools remote services until an administrator accepts the product-specific Remote Services Agreement in Telegram Alerts → Support and enables the relevant scope.
Available scopes may include:
License validation, used only after an administrator enters a Premium key.
Premium update checks, used only with the separately installed Premium add-on.
Product notices for relevant compatibility, maintenance, or service information.
Optional diagnostics, used only when separately enabled.
Data may include the entered license key, product identifier, plugin version, WordPress and PHP versions, WooCommerce version when active, site URL, installation UUID, plan/status metadata, remote-notice acknowledgement identifiers, and limited connection error codes. Environment details are included only with diagnostics consent.
Telegram Bot Tokens, Chat IDs, Telegram message contents, customer/order/payment/password data, complete diagnostic exports, and hosting credentials are not sent to PS Tools remote services.
Consent can be revoked from the product Support page. Revoking it stops PS Tools server connections for this product, including license refresh and remote notices. Included Lite monitoring continues locally.

Privacy
The plugin stores settings, delivery queue state, diagnostics, event deduplication state, and optional remote-service consent state in the WordPress database. Temporary database setup can also store Telegram credentials for up to fourteen days; Secure Mode loads credentials from wp-config.php or server environment variables instead.
When customer Telegram features are enabled through the separately installed Premium add-on, customer connection data may be stored in WordPress user or order metadata.
The plugin adds suggested privacy-policy text to Settings → Privacy. Site owners should disclose the alerts they enable and the data sent to Telegram or other explicitly approved services.
