PraxisBooking provides a lightweight appointment booking system directly inside WordPress. It is designed primarily for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, alternative practitioners, and other healthcare practices, but it can also be used by other service providers that need customers or clients to request appointments online.
The free version works independently. It does not require an external service account, a license key, or a connection to the developer’s licensing infrastructure.

Monthly calendar with available days and appointment times.

Opening hours for each weekday with separate from/to fields.

PraxisBooking stores booking data in the local WordPress database. The free version does not contact Uebeweb or another external licensing or booking service during normal operation.
Privacy
Depending on configuration, PraxisBooking processes personal data such as first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, appointment details, and optional notes. This information is stored in the local WordPress database and is used to process appointment requests and related email communication.
To reduce simple automated mass requests, PraxisBooking uses a short-lived rate limit. A non-reversible check value derived from the IP address and submitted email address is stored as a WordPress transient for approximately 15 minutes.
The free version does not send data to Uebeweb for license or feature checks. Actual email delivery may use an external mail provider if the site administrator has configured WordPress or an SMTP plugin to use such a provider.
PraxisBooking adds suggested privacy-policy text to the WordPress privacy-policy guide. Booking records are also integrated with the WordPress “Export Personal Data” and “Erase Personal Data” tools. Active or future bookings are intentionally not anonymized by an automatic erasure request so that ongoing appointments are not broken. Those records should be reviewed again after the appointment has passed or has been cancelled.
The website operator is responsible for the legal basis for processing, privacy notices, access control, retention periods, and deletion procedures. The plugin does not provide legal advice or certify legal or regulatory compliance.
