內容簡介

啟用此外掛以後，透過 WP 後台設置使用者名稱和密碼，使用者在能夠查看前端頁面之前，必須透過 HTTP AUTH 提供使用者名稱和密碼進行驗證。

此外掛的目的在於保護分與自然搜尋引擎機器人的目的地，以及防止任何偶然撞上網站的人。

然而，這並不特別安全--密碼存在於資料庫中。

Enable, set a user and PW via WP admin and users will be prompted via HTTP AUTH for a user/pw before being able to view the frontend.
Aim of the plugin is to protect staging sites from the prying eyes of search engine robots, and to keep out anyone who might stumble across it accidentally.
This isn’t particularly secure – password is in the database.
