原文外掛簡介

PageKiwi checks your WordPress site and tells you, in plain English, what’s wrong and where to click to fix it. It’s made for people who look after a website but aren’t technical: store owners, club secretaries, town offices.
Press Check my site and PageKiwi looks at:

Settings that quietly hurt you: search engines turned away, an address without the padlock, the default tagline, no site icon, page addresses like ?p=123, updates waiting, a user called “admin”.
Pictures: Media Library pictures with no alt text (fill it in right there, without leaving the list), pictures in your pages with no alt text, pictures that don’t load, pictures over plain http, and photos so heavy they slow your pages down.
Links in your posts, pages and synced patterns: dead links to your own pages and to other websites, links to pages that have moved, leftover test addresses (localhost, staging sites), http links to your own https site, “click here” links, links with no words, phone links that won’t ring, and email links whose address or domain can’t get email.
Facts: pages that give different phone numbers or email addresses.
Headings and structure: a second main heading, headings that skip a level, tables without headers, and embedded maps or videos without a title, which confuse screen reader users.

Every problem says what’s wrong, where it is, how soon to fix it, and where to click. A box on your dashboard shows the count from the last check.

Private by design
PageKiwi reads your own site’s settings, Media Library and published content. To see whether links still work, your own server asks your pages and up to 15 of the other websites you link to (a quick request or two each, saying it’s PageKiwi for WordPress). It also looks up domain names: those in email links, to see whether they can get email, those of linked websites that don’t answer, to see whether they still exist, and your own, to make sure your server can look names up at all. It sends nothing to PageKiwi, and adds nothing to your visitors’ pages: no scripts, no tracking, no ads.
The “More free checks on pagekiwi.com” links on PageKiwi’s screen open https://pagekiwi.com with your site’s address filled in, only if you click them. See PageKiwi’s privacy page: https://pagekiwi.com/privacy/
What it can’t do
PageKiwi reads published posts, pages, other public content (like WooCommerce products) and synced patterns, up to 500 of the most recently changed, and the 500 newest Media Library pictures. It doesn’t check menus, widgets or your theme’s templates, or drafts, scheduled and private posts.
Automated checks find many common problems, not all of them. PageKiwi helps you get closer to meeting accessibility rules like the ADA and WCAG; it can’t promise your site meets them, and it isn’t legal advice. Check the official sources, such as https://www.ada.gov/ and https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/, as rules and dates change.
