The Messagemedia WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is very useful when you want to get notified via SMS after placing an order. Customer and admin both will get SMS notification after an order is placed. You can sign up here for create a account
Basic Features

Admin will get SMS notification when customer place an order
Customer will get SMS notification when order placed and also notify each order statues
Customizable sms text for each status
Admin can track sms status from each order
Customizable options for site admin.
