LungoTech IP Guard is a robust and lightweight security plugin designed to block malicious IP addresses and CIDR ranges directly at the server level via your .htaccess file. By blocking unwanted traffic before it hits WordPress, you save valuable server resources.
Key Features:

CIDR Range Support: Block entire subnet ranges easily (e.g., IPv4 and IPv6 CIDR notations).
Permanent & Temporary IP Blocking: Choose to block IPs permanently or set them as temporary.
Auto-Purge System: Automatically removes the oldest temporary IPs once the limit is reached to keep your .htaccess file clean and optimized.
Smart Server Detection: Automatically detects Apache versions (2.2 or 2.4+) and applies the correct syntax (deny from vs Require not ip).
Clean Uninstallation: Includes an automatic uninstaller that cleans up database options and removes its specific rules from .htaccess without affecting other rules.
