原文外掛簡介
IntentWay is a WhatsApp pre-contact routing plugin for WordPress that routes visitors by intent before WhatsApp opens. Unlike a generic social-media or click-to-chat button, it adds a lightweight decision step so each conversation starts with clearer context.
Visitors can choose between two configurable contact intents before opening WhatsApp. Each choice can use its own label and WhatsApp message, so the conversation starts with clearer context. IntentWay can also append the current page title to the outgoing message, helping site owners identify where each contact originated.
This makes IntentWay useful for websites that need a small, focused routing layer before WhatsApp—for example, separating sales from support, rentals from shared tours, or one service inquiry from another—without requiring a help-desk platform or external IntentWay account.
Core features:
Floating WhatsApp contact button.
Optional two-choice pre-contact popup.
Custom label and message for each choice.
Automatic page-origin context.
Desktop and mobile visibility controls.
Button position and appearance controls, including button, text, and icon colors, corner radius, shadow, and animation.
Translation-ready interface.
IntentWay does not require an external account and does not send visitor data to an IntentWay server.
When a visitor chooses to contact you, the plugin builds a WhatsApp wa.me URL in the visitor’s browser. WhatsApp is a third-party service and its own terms and privacy policy apply.
IntentWay is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Privacy
IntentWay itself does not collect, store, or transmit visitor analytics to an IntentWay server.
The plugin may send the configured phone number, visitor-selected message, and optional page title to WhatsApp only when the visitor chooses to open WhatsApp. This happens through a wa.me URL initiated in the visitor’s browser.
Site owners are responsible for their own privacy notices and for compliance with applicable laws and the terms of third-party services they use.
