Gatefeed turns your store catalog into clean, always-in-sync product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and AI assistants.
This companion plugin does one simple thing: it automatically adds your Google site verification tag (google-site-verification) to your site’s header, so that Gatefeed can verify and claim your website in Google Merchant Center on your behalf.
Zero configuration: the plugin fetches your verification token from your Gatefeed account automatically
Lightweight: a single meta tag, nothing else is loaded on your pages
Revocable anytime: deactivate the plugin to remove the tag
External services
This plugin connects to the Gatefeed API to retrieve the Google site verification token associated with your domain.
Endpoint: https://gatefeed.gatead.com/api/verification/token
Data sent: your site’s domain name only (no personal data, no content)
When: once a day at most (response is cached)

A Gatefeed account with your store connected is required for the tag to be served.
