Configuration
= Getting Your Telegram Bot API Key =
1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
2. Start a chat and use the /newbot command
3. Follow the instructions to create a new bot
4. Copy the API key provided by BotFather
5. Paste the API Key/Token you copied from the text field in step 2 into your admin menu in ‘Full Alerts for Telegram’ and click “Save Token”
6. Open Telegram and search for your bot using the search bar. Remember, its name ends in “bot”
7. Once you find it, click on it to open the conversation.
8. Press the “Start” button to activate the chat with your bot.
9. Send a message to your bot, for example, type “Hello” (this step is necessary for us to retrieve your bot’s ID and configure it correctly).
10. Then, return into your admin menu in ‘Full Alerts for Telegram’ to continue the setup.
11. Finally check the box labeled “I have sent a message to the bot and am ready to continue” and click “Activate Telegram Connection” button to finish the setup.
