CataLord replaces the default WooCommerce product editing experience with a fast, modern interface built for store managers who value speed and clarity.
No more jumping between tabs, hunting for settings, or fighting the default editor. CataLord puts everything you need on a single, clean screen – and adds tools WooCommerce doesn’t offer out of the box.
The free plugin covers the full single-product editor, the full Variant Builder, bulk actions and bulk edit with no per-batch cap, CSV export with no row cap, extended Quick Edit (brand / category / tags inline), upsells & cross-sells editing, and AI product descriptions with your own Google Gemini API key. An optional CataLord Pro upgrade unlocks catalog-scale paradigms that the free tier doesn’t try to be: Sheet Mode (spreadsheet-style multi-product editing, including adding new products as rows), CSV Import wizard, AI Product Enrichment, AI image editing, and deeper editor integrations. Every Pro feature is clearly tagged in the lists below.

Product List

Quick Bulk Edit – Update prices, stock, status, categories, tags, brands, and linked products across multiple products at once, with the choice to append or replace existing values. No per-batch cap.

Instant Taxonomy Access – Categories, brands, and tags are immediately accessible with in-list search and automatic parent category selection.
SEO Fields – See your Yoast SEO or Rank Math title and meta description right inside the product editor. Pro makes them editable in place and can fill them with AI.
Keyboard Shortcuts – Save with Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac) from anywhere in the editor. Pro adds paste-to-upload: press Ctrl+V to add an image straight from your clipboard.
AI Product Descriptions – Generate and refine product descriptions with AI (requires your own Google Gemini API key – bring your own key). Pro adds saved custom system prompts.
Quick Taxonomy Entry – Add new attribute values, categories, tags, and brands inline without leaving the product editor.
AI Image Editing (Pro) – Edit product images with free-text instructions using Google’s Gemini “Nano Banana” image model and auto-save to WebP (requires your own Gemini API key).
Linked Products Made Easy – Add upsells and cross-sells with a fast search-and-select interface. (Pro adds bulk editing of upsells / cross-sells across many products at once from the product list.)
ACF Custom Field Editing (Pro) – Read and write Advanced Custom Fields directly in the editor. Free shows ACF fields read-only.

AI Product Enrichment (Pro)
Most stores sell products they did not make – and the data arrives as a bare name, a supplier’s one-liner, or a messy paste. AI Product Enrichment turns that into a complete, consistent product page in one click, using your own Google Gemini API key.
Fill with AI – Open any product, however thin or untidy its content, and let the AI complete it from what the product already holds. You choose which parts to fill.
Everything a product page needs – A clean product name, full description, short description, category assignment, brand, tags, attributes with their values, and SEO title and meta description.
Fits your store, not a template – Categories, brands and attribute values are matched to the ones your catalog already uses, so enrichment does not litter your taxonomy with near-duplicates. New values are suggested for your approval, never added silently.
Works at import scale – The CSV Import wizard has an enrichment step: import a file that carries little more than product names and let the AI complete every row on the way in.
Your language, your voice – Output language follows your setting, with full Hebrew / RTL support, and saved custom prompts keep the tone consistent.
You stay in control – Every suggestion lands in the editor for review. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
Taxonomy Manager
Unified Management – Manage brands, categories, tags, and custom attributes from one page, without navigating away for every action. Free can create, rename, and delete Categories, Tags, and Brands; Attributes and their terms are read-only.
Safe Deletion – Smart warnings before deleting attributes or values that are actively used in product variations, showing affected product names.
Attribute Management (Pro) – Create, rename, and delete global attributes and their terms.
Import / Export
CSV Export – Export your filtered product set to CSV. No row cap.

What CataLord Doesn’t Cover (Yet)
CataLord is focused on simplifying the most common product-management tasks. Some WooCommerce features aren’t (yet) exposed in our interface – for those, the standard WooCommerce editor remains fully available side-by-side with CataLord:
Grouped products – the Grouped product type isn’t (yet) editable in CataLord (Simple, Variable, External/Affiliate, Virtual, and Downloadable are all supported)
Sold-individually flag – the “limit purchases to 1 per order” option
Other advanced fields – purchase note, menu order, review-enabled flag, featured flag
Quick Edit for Variable products – use the full editor for variable products
CataLord reads and writes standard WooCommerce data with zero proprietary storage. For any field we don’t cover, switching to the native WooCommerce editor preserves everything – no data is hidden, converted, or locked in.

CataLord is purpose-built for efficiency. Every feature is designed to reduce clicks, eliminate page reloads, and keep you focused on your products. Whether you manage 10 products or 10,000, CataLord makes the experience dramatically faster and more pleasant.

Privacy & Third-Party Services
CataLord runs entirely in your WordPress admin and stores all product data in your own WooCommerce tables – nothing proprietary. The plugin does, however, communicate with a small number of optional third-party services. Each is described below so you can decide what fits your privacy policy. None of them is contacted on a fresh install until you take an explicit action.
Freemius (license / update infrastructure) – CataLord uses the Freemius SDK to handle plugin updates, optional opt-in usage diagnostics, and Pro license checks. Opt-in diagnostics are off by default; you choose whether to share them when activating the plugin. License-related calls only happen for users who purchase Pro. Google Gemini API (optional AI features) – The AI product-description generator is included in the free plugin; AI Product Enrichment and AI image editing are part of Pro. Both require your own Google Gemini API key (BYOK), which you save in the CataLord settings. When you generate or edit content, the plugin sends your prompt and the relevant product text or image bytes directly from your site to generativelanguage.googleapis.com using your key. When AI Product Enrichment needs facts the product does not hold, it asks Gemini to use its own Grounding with Google Search tool – the search runs inside Google’s API under your key, and CataLord itself never retrieves third-party pages. CataLord does not proxy, log, or retain this data. If you do not enter a Gemini API key, no calls are made. See Google Gemini Terms and Privacy Policy.
Remote image downloads (Pro CSV import) – When your CSV maps an image URL column, your server downloads each of those files from the addresses in your own file. Nothing is requested unless you supply the address yourself.
The plugin makes no other outbound HTTP calls – no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party fonts (Roboto Slab, Noto Sans Hebrew and Google Sans are all bundled locally in assets/fonts/), no remote code execution.
Bundled JavaScript libraries: DOMPurify 3.4.13 (Cure53) ships as assets/purify.min.js under the Apache License 2.0 and the Mozilla Public License 2.0 – MPL-2.0 is GPLv2-compatible, so the bundle is GPL-compatible under WordPress’s own licence. No other third-party JavaScript is bundled, and nothing is loaded from a CDN.
Bundled font licences: Google Sans and Noto Sans Hebrew are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Roboto Slab 2.002 is under the Apache License 2.0 – its full text ships as assets/fonts/LICENSE-Apache-2.0.txt, as that licence requires. Per-file details are in assets/fonts/LICENSE.txt. Apache-2.0 is GPLv3-compatible and WordPress is “GPLv2 or later”, so all bundled assets are GPL-compatible.
What is written to your logs
CataLord writes diagnostic entries through WooCommerce’s own logger. Any address it records is written without its query string or fragment (https://example.com/product/thing?…), so signed URLs, session identifiers and affiliate tokens never land in a log file or a support bundle.
