BrunLabs Sentinel AI is a WordPress security plugin designed to provide multiple layers of local protection from a clear and centralized interface.
Sentinel monitors important areas of your WordPress installation, analyzes security-relevant changes and helps you detect suspicious activity before it becomes a bigger problem.
The included features work locally and do not require a BrunLabs account, license key or paid subscription.
Deep Scan
Deep Scan performs a comprehensive inspection of your WordPress installation and analyzes multiple security areas, including:

Files and integrity
WordPress Core
Plugins and themes
Database
Users and access
Network and APIs
WordPress configuration
Scheduled tasks
Uploads
Secrets and credentials
Public exposure
Official plugin integrity

Each area receives its own result so you can quickly identify where attention may be required.
Real-time protection layers
Sentinel includes multiple defensive monitoring layers designed to detect or mitigate common WordPress attack patterns.
Protection areas include:

Brute-force login activity
SQL injection patterns
XSS and remote code execution attempts
Dangerous executable uploads
Administrator and privilege changes
Sensitive WooCommerce payment configuration changes
Supply-chain integrity changes
Virtual patching protections
Webshell and ransomware-related activity

The protection status of each layer can be reviewed directly from the Sentinel interface.
Security Score
Sentinel provides a security score that gives you a quick overview of the current state of your WordPress installation.
The score combines information gathered from security checks, configuration analysis and Deep Scan results.
Local-first security
Sentinel AI is designed so that its included protection features can operate directly inside your WordPress installation.
No BrunLabs account, license key or subscription is required to use the functionality included in this plugin.
BrunLabs Connect
BrunLabs Connect is an optional, separately distributed companion plugin that can provide additional connected integrations.
Sentinel AI remains fully functional without BrunLabs Connect.
