AsphaltDreams Order Alerts sends useful WooCommerce new-order alerts through the Telegram Bot API.
The plugin includes a guided three-step setup wizard. It validates your Telegram bot token, discovers recent Telegram chats, sends a test message, and lets you choose which basic order details appear in notifications.
No separate notification platform is required. Your website communicates directly with the Telegram Bot API.

External services
This plugin connects to the Telegram Bot API, an external service operated by Telegram.
The connection is used to:
Validate a Telegram bot token through the getMe method.
Retrieve recent Telegram chats through the getUpdates method.
Send test and WooCommerce order messages through the sendMessage method.
When a notification is sent, the plugin transmits the configured message and destination Chat ID to Telegram. In the free version, a message can contain the order number, order status, order total, product names and quantities, customer name, and a WordPress admin order URL, depending on the options selected by the site administrator.
The Telegram Bot Token and Chat ID are stored in the site’s WordPress database. Store owners should use a private Telegram chat or restricted group when order information is sensitive.

Setup
1. Connect the bot
Open the official @BotFather account in Telegram, send /newbot, follow the instructions, and copy the HTTP API token. Paste the token into the plugin setup screen. The plugin validates the token before saving it.
2. Choose a chat
For a private chat, open your bot and press Start or send /start.
For a group, add the bot and send a new message in the group.
For a channel, add the bot as an administrator with permission to post messages and publish a new message.
Return to WordPress and refresh the chat list. You can also enter a numeric Chat ID or a public channel username manually.
3. Configure notifications
Enable new-order notifications and choose whether to include products, the customer name, and the WordPress admin order link. Finish setup and send another test message from the dashboard if needed.
