原文外掛簡介

The blog post you keep meaning to write gets written and published without you.
You know the blog brings customers. You also know it is the first thing that stops when the week gets busy. Six weeks later the last post still says “Spring opening hours”.
YoDon is article automation for people whose real job isn’t blogging. You name a subject and a rhythm once — daily, weekly, monthly. From then on, every time the schedule comes due, YoDon researches the topic on the live web, writes the article from what it found, generates the featured image, fills in your SEO fields and publishes the finished post to this site. Or leaves it as a draft, if you would rather look first.
This plugin is the WordPress side of that connection. Install it, copy one token, and your site is connected.
What actually happens on each run

Research. It searches the open web for what is true right now, fetches every source it intends to cite, and drops anything it cannot reach.
Write. The article is written from those verified findings rather than from a model’s memory, in your language and your angle, with the citations kept.
Design. Blocks, not a wall of paragraphs — and painted with the colours and fonts read from your own theme, so nothing lands as a white card on a dark page.
Illustrate. A featured image, generated for the subject.
Optimise. SEO title, meta description and focus keyword written straight into Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
Publish. Live on schedule, or held as a draft for you. Either way you get an email.

Before any of that, YoDon checks the planned title against everything already on your site. Too close to something you have? It is skipped, and skipping costs you nothing.
What lands on your site
Not a grey slab of text. Every article is assembled from blocks a person will actually read to the end:

Comparison tables when the answer is a choice between options.
Figures built from real HTML, so the numbers stay as text a search engine and an AI assistant can quote — not baked into a picture.
Numbered steps, pros-and-cons columns, and a takeaways box at the top.
A real FAQ, phrased the way people ask an assistant, marked up so answer engines can lift it.
Internal links to the posts and product pages you already have, so the blog compounds instead of sprawling.
The sources it used, listed and linked, re-checked against the live web at publish time.

Every block is plain HTML that survives WordPress’s own filtering. No stylesheet to strip, nothing that arrives on the page as visible CSS.
You decide how much rope it gets

Publish — straight to the site, on schedule.
Draft — lands in your Drafts for approval, published one by one or all at once.
Hold — stays in YoDon until you send it.

Switch between them whenever you like. Anything published is a normal WordPress post: edit it, delete it, move it, exactly as you would your own.
Already have posts going stale?
Point YoDon at an article that is already live and it rewrites it in place — same URL, same publish date, its own links kept, with a fresh record of what it checked. Old posts stop being dead weight.
Why this plugin instead of an Application Password
Application Passwords are fine when your host allows them. Often they don’t: the section is hidden, a security plugin switched it off, or the host strips the Authorization header. This plugin sidesteps all of that, and does a few things a username and password cannot:

One token, revocable in a click. Created in Settings → YoDon, shown once, stored only as a SHA-256 hash. Regenerate it and the old one dies instantly.
Publishes as a user you choose. Every article gets a real author, and the connection can never do more than that user is allowed to do. Point it at an Author account and it cannot touch your categories.
Reads your theme. Colours, fonts and content width come from the active theme and Site Editor, so generated articles match your design instead of guessing at it.
Writes your SEO fields directly into Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
Updates its own posts. Publishing a draft or refreshing internal links doesn’t need extra permissions.
Speaks Polylang, if your site is multilingual.

What it costs
The plugin is free and always will be. YoDon is free to start — no card — and paid plans begin when you want more articles than the free allowance. Pricing is at yodon.com.
Who it’s for
Shop and studio owners whose site should answer the questions customers ask all day. Hotels and travel businesses whose guests search the destination before they search the brand. Online stores that need buying guides. Estate agents who need neighbourhood guides. Consultants and agencies running a schedule per client site, everything held as drafts for review.
How this plugin works with YoDon (third-party service)
This plugin only answers requests. It does not send anything to YoDon on its own, has no scheduled jobs, and makes no outbound requests. It does nothing at all until a request arrives carrying the token you created.
When YoDon does connect, it reads your categories, your recent post titles and links, and your theme’s design tokens, and it writes the articles and images you asked it to publish. That exchange is governed by YoDon’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Deleting the plugin, or regenerating the token, ends the connection immediately.
A YoDon account is required for the plugin to do anything. Without one, the plugin sits idle.
Security

Only a hash of the token is stored, and tokens are compared in constant time.
A request without a valid token is treated exactly as it would be without the plugin installed.
The token works only on the routes listed below, never on the rest of your site.
The plugin never makes outbound requests and has no scheduled jobs.

For developers
The plugin adds a small set of REST endpoints under autopress/v1:

GET /ping — connection check: publishing user, WordPress version, detected SEO plugin, upload limit and what the connection may do.
GET /theme — the site’s colours, fonts and content width from the active theme and Site Editor.
POST /media — upload a JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP or AVIF image into the media library.
POST /post — create a post (draft, pending, scheduled, private or published), or update one it already created.
GET / POST /categories — list categories; create one, or return the matching one if it already exists.
GET /posts — a compact list of recent published posts, used for internal linking.
POST /seo — write the SEO title, meta description and focus keyword into Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
POST /translations — link posts as translations of one another on sites running Polylang.

The token is also accepted on the standard WordPress endpoints for posts, media, categories, tags and users/me. No other route on your site is affected.
