ViewRank Post View Rankingsは、WordPressの投稿記事のページビュー（PV）を計測し、よく読まれている記事を人気記事ランキングとして表示するプラグインです。ブログやメディアサイトで、読者に「次に読む記事」を案内するために活用できます。
本日・7日間・30日間・全期間の4つの集計期間に対応。最近注目されている記事と、長く読まれている定番記事を、目的に合わせて紹介できます。7日間・30日間は本日を含む期間で、WordPressに設定されたタイムゾーンを基準に集計します。
ランキングはウィジェットやショートコードで設置できます。ウィジェットでは「人気記事」と「ランダム記事」を選択し、表示件数、サムネイルの有無・位置・サイズ、カテゴリー、PV数、文字色を設定できます。複数のウィジェットを設置した場合も、それぞれの表示内容や見た目を個別に調整できます。
ランダム記事表示は、閲覧数の順位に関係なく記事を紹介したいときに便利です。人気記事ランキングと組み合わせることで、過去の記事を読者に見つけてもらうきっかけを作れます。

ViewRank Post View Rankings tracks page views (PV) for WordPress posts and displays your most-read articles as a popular posts ranking. Use it on a blog or content site to help readers find another article to read.
Choose from four ranking periods: today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all time. Highlight recent interest with a shorter period, or showcase established favorites with the all-time ranking. The 7-day and 30-day periods include today and follow your WordPress timezone.
Display popular posts with a widget or shortcode. Each widget lets you choose popular or random posts and customize the number of posts, thumbnail visibility, position and size, categories, view counts, and text colors. Multiple widgets can have their own settings.
The random posts feature introduces articles independently of their view counts. Combine it with popular post lists to give readers more ways to discover older content.

使い始めるには / Getting started
有効化後、「設定 > ViewRank Post View Rankings」で表示言語と管理者のPV除外を設定してください。ウィジェットを利用できるテーマではViewRankのウィジェットを追加するか、投稿・固定ページのショートコードブロックに [spp_popular_posts] を入力して表示できます。ランダム記事を表示する場合は [spp_random_posts] を使用します。
After activation, open Settings > ViewRank Post View Rankings to choose the interface language and administrator view exclusion setting. Add a ViewRank widget in a theme that supports widget areas, or enter [spp_popular_posts] in a Shortcode block in a post or page. Use [spp_random_posts] for a random post list.

Both shortcodes accept these optional display attributes:

Omitted attributes use existing saved defaults or initial values. Widget settings affect that widget only; change shortcode appearance using the attributes above.

PV計測とキャッシュ / Tracking and caching
PV tracking uses JavaScript and WordPress AJAX, so cached article pages can still record views. JavaScript and access to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php are required. Clear your page/CDN cache after updating so existing cached pages load the new tracker. Each normal page load counts once; this is PV, not unique visitor tracking. Bot exclusion is best-effort. A fresh nonce is obtained before recording each view to avoid expired nonces in cached HTML.
PVはJavaScriptとWordPress AJAXで記録するため、記事ページがキャッシュされていても計測できます。JavaScriptとwp-admin/admin-ajax.phpへの通信が必要です。更新後はページ/CDNキャッシュを削除してください。通常のページ読み込みごとに1回加算するPV計測で、ユニークユーザー数ではありません。ボット除外は完全ではありません。
Ranking database results are cached for up to 60 seconds. Your page/CDN cache can keep displayed rankings unchanged for longer. Private, deleted and password-protected posts are excluded. Existing view data and settings are retained.
ランキング集計結果は最大60秒キャッシュします。ページ/CDNキャッシュによって表示の更新はさらに遅れる場合があります。非公開・削除済み・パスワード保護記事はランキングから除外します。既存のPVデータと設定は引き継ぎます。
How do I display popular posts? / 人気記事を表示するには？
Use the ViewRank Post View Rankings widget or the available shortcode to display popular posts. You can configure the ranking period, number of posts, thumbnails, PV counts, and categories from the widget settings.

How do I display random posts? / ランダム記事を表示するには？
Add the ViewRank Post View Rankings widget and select Random posts under Display type. The number of posts, thumbnail display, thumbnail position, size, PV count, category display, and text colors can be customized.

Does this count visitors or page views? / 訪問者数とPV数は同じですか？
ViewRank counts page views, not unique visitors. Repeated page loads can add views. It tracks individual WordPress posts, rather than providing a full-site analytics dashboard for pages and archives.
ViewRankが計測するのはPV数で、訪問者の実人数ではありません。同じ人が記事を読み直した場合も加算されることがあります。計測対象は個別の投稿記事であり、固定ページやアーカイブを含むサイト全体のアクセス解析機能ではありません。
Why is my ranking empty or slow to change? / ランキングが空、または更新されないのはなぜですか？
Popular post rankings need recorded views within the selected period. Check that JavaScript is enabled and that caching or security settings allow requests to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. If administrator views are excluded, your own logged-in visits will not add views. Ranking queries are cached for up to 60 seconds; page or CDN caches can delay visible changes further.
