Uncap AI Shopping Connector for WooCommerce connects your store to AI shopping agents. It implements the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), so any AI agent that speaks these open standards can discover your store, search products, and create checkouts — without any custom integration work on your part.
What this means in practice
AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and others are beginning to shop on behalf of users. When a user says “order me roses for my wife’s birthday,” the agent needs a structured way to find a store, check availability, and complete a purchase. UCP is the protocol that makes that possible. This plugin makes your WooCommerce store a first-class destination for those agents.

This plugin connects to the following external services:
UCP schema and specification URLs
The plugin includes https://ucp.dev/ URLs in UCP discovery and schema response payloads as passive identifiers for the Universal Commerce Protocol specification. These values are not service endpoints used by the plugin. The plugin never connects to ucp.dev and never sends store, customer, order, or analytics data to ucp.dev.
The plugin also includes passive schema identifiers from https://schema.org/ in front-end JSON-LD markup and https://json-schema.org/ inside the bundled local WebMCP library. The plugin does not connect to either domain or send data to either domain.
AI agent webhook URLs
When an AI agent initiates a checkout, it may supply an agent profile URL in the UCP-Agent request header. When Agent Webhooks are enabled, the plugin fetches that profile URL to read the agent’s configured webhook URL. The plugin then sends order event notifications (e.g. order placed, order shipped) to that webhook URL. This feature is disabled by default and must be enabled by the store owner under Uncap AI → Settings → Agent Webhooks.
Data sent to the agent profile URL: the HTTP request needed to retrieve the public agent profile
Data sent to the webhook URL: order status, checkout ID, fulfillment events
When: only during an active agent-initiated checkout session, and only when the store owner has enabled webhooks
Who receives it: the AI agent service that initiated the checkout (e.g. Claude, a custom agent)
Opt-in: store owner controls this in plugin settings
Terms and privacy policy: the destination is supplied by the external AI agent service, so there is no single terms or privacy URL controlled by this plugin. Store owners should review that agent service’s terms and privacy policy before enabling Agent Webhooks.
Bundled JavaScript library
