這是基於Tom Purnell的twitpress外掛修改而成，它新增了選擇發布更新到Twitter時所歸類的分類的功能。
TwitCategory外掛會發送一條推文通知您的Twitter粉絲，您有新的博客文章已發佈。這個外掛非常定製化，可以使用靜態文本和幾個變量（如標題、文章、永久鏈接、guid和分類名）來格式化推文。
新版本的外掛還可以通過tinyurl、isgd和bitly進行URL縮短！

Based on twitpress by Tom Purnell. Adds the ability to choose which category will result in updates to your twitter account.
TwitCategory sends a tweet notifying your followers that a new post has been published on your blog. It is very customizable, allowing you to format the tweets using static text and several variables: title, post, permalink, guid and category name.
New versions also allow for URL shortening via tinyurl, isgd and bitly!
Upgrading
Click update from the WordPress plugin menu.
or
Click ‘Download’ on this page.
Deactivate the twitcategory plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress Admin.
Upload twitcategory.php to your /wp-content/plugins directory, overwriting the previous version.
Fill in your twitter account information (be sure to re-enter your password), using the twitcategory configuration menu found in WordPress Admin.
