這款外掛旨在使法文性別平等文本排版容易化，同時避免對視力受損人士的體驗造成影響。
- 排版：無論使用「·」、「•」或「.」作為分隔符，都將識別性別平等詞語並使用管理員定義的標點符號進行書寫。
- 維護視力受損人士的可訪問性：使用性別平等文字所添加的元素（文內標點符號和第二詞綴）被放入HTML標記中，使其對於屏幕閱讀工具不可見。（這是通過專用的HTML字段「aria-hidden」實現的。為了生效，使用的屏幕閱讀工具必須考慮到此字段，例如ChromeVox。）
例子：「Les argiculteur.rice.s」將在屏幕上以「les agriculteur·rice·s」的方式顯示，並將在屏幕閱讀工具中以「les agriculteurs」朗讀。
對評論的處理是可選的。URL和網站名稱被識別並保持不變。HTML標記的內容保持不變。

Ce plugin a pour but de faciliter la mise en forme des textes inclusifs féminins·masculins, ainsi que d’éviter que ce dernier n’affecte l’expérience des personnes malvoyantes.
– Mise en forme : Qu’ils aient été écrits avec un point médian (·), gras (•) ou bas (.), les termes inclusifs sont reconnus et réécrits en utilisant la ponctuation choisie en option.
– Maintien de l’accessibilité aux personnes malvoyantes : Les éléments ajoutés par l’écriture inclusive (points et seconds suffixes) sont encadrés par des balises html les rendant invisibles aux outils de lecture vocale. (Cette invisibilité est créée grâce au champ html dédié : \”aria-hidden\”. Pour que cela soit effectif, si l’outil utilisé le prenne en compte. C’est le cas par exemple ChromeVox.)
Exemple : « Les argiculteur.rice.s » sera affiché « les agriculteur·rice·s », et sera lu « les agriculteurs » par les outils de synthèse vocale.
Le traitement des commentaires est optionnel. Les URL et noms de sites web sont reconnus et laissés intacts. Le contenu des balises html est laissé intact.
