平滑輪廓替代品 (Smooth Gallery Replacement) 可以替換使用 gallery-shortcode 的標準 WordPress 圖庫，並使用 JonDesign 的 SmoothGallery 呈現。
為了在 WordPress 上執行 SmoothGallery，另外有兩個外掛可供選擇：「SmoothGallery」需要手動編輯文章中的標記，而「NextGEN Smooth Gallery」則需要您使用 NextGEN Gallery 外掛。
此外掛是個自給自足的版面設計套件，不需要使用者進行任何操作或改變部落格。對於不支援 JavaScript 的瀏覽器，它也可以優雅地降級。而且，移除插件之後，您的圖庫會如同以前一樣運作。
需要注意的是，SmoothGallery 是建立在 MooTools 上的，因此如果您在網誌中使用了 Scriptaculous，它就無法運作。

Smooth Gallery Replacement will replace your standard WordPress galleries (using the gallery-shortcode) with JonDesign’s SmoothGallery.
There are two other plugins for running SmoothGallery in WordPress: “SmoothGallery”, which requires manual markup to be added to your posts. And “NextGEN Smooth Gallery”, which requires you to use the NextGEN Gallery plugin.
This plugin is a self contained drop-in that requires no effort from you and no changes to your blog. It degrades gracefully for non-JavaScript browsers and removing the plugin leaves your galleries working just like they did before.
Be warned: SmoothGallery is built on MooTools and will not work if you run Scriptaculous on your blog.
