Simple Subtitle adds a subtitle field to the post and page editor and displays its value below the title on singular posts and pages. It uses the existing _simple_subtitle post meta key, so subtitles saved with version 1.0 remain available.
Version 1.1.0 uses the the_title filter to add a styled span, rather than a nested heading, on the queried post in the main loop. A minimal stylesheet is included and can be overridden in your theme.
Note: placement is theme-dependent. This automatic approach works with themes rendering the main title in the main loop. It may not apply to themes rendering the title outside that context.

Simple Subtitle ajoute un champ de sous-titre dans l’éditeur des articles et des pages, puis affiche sa valeur sous le titre lors de l’affichage individuel. Les sous-titres enregistrés avec la version 1.0 sont conservés grâce à la métadonnée _simple_subtitle.
La version 1.1.0 utilise le filtre the_title et un élément span mis en forme, plutôt qu’un titre HTML imbriqué. Un style minimal peut être surchargé dans le thème.
Remarque : le résultat dépend du thème. L’affichage automatique nécessite que le titre principal soit traité dans la boucle principale WordPress.
