Sanctuary Tiger SEO gives every page on your site the technical SEO foundation search engines — and increasingly, AI answer engines — expect, configured once and working immediately after activation.
Built for practitioners, not marketing teams. Coaches, healers, authors, and podcasters who need to be findable without compromising their voice.
Why Sanctuary Tiger for 2026 AI search
More than half of all Google searches now end without a click to any website (SparkToro/Datos), and that share climbs further whenever an AI Overview appears. The game isn’t just ranking anymore — it’s being cited inside the answer. That’s called Generative Engine Optimization, or GEO.
Sanctuary Tiger is built for GEO:
Entity clarity first. Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, Article, and FAQPage schema in the free plugin. Service, Book, Event, Course, Product, Review, Video, and Podcast schema in Pro. Custom JSON-LD merges into the @graph without overwriting.
E-E-A-T by default. Real Person schema with author bios, not “Admin.” Your credentials travel with every post so Google and AI systems have something to attribute the byline to.
Citation-ready meta (Pro). AI Meta Generation writes titles, meta descriptions, and Open Graph fields in your voice. The AI Citation Optimizer rewrites a passage into fact-forward, quotable variations. We don’t publish a specific lift number for this — the plugin’s own AI Mentions tracker now lets you check what’s actually correlating with citations on your own site, rather than relying on a claimed industry average.
Lightweight, free, and built to stay that way. No jQuery dependency added, no dashboard ads, no account or API key required for the free plugin. Title tags with safe fallback for themes that don’t declare title-tag support, correct index/noindex handling, canonical URLs everywhere, a visual robots.txt editor, and real-time readability that runs client-side as you type — with word-form matching, so “coach” also recognizes “coaches” and “coaching.”
A real broken-link scanner, free. The SEO Health dashboard checks every internal link (HEAD-checked, async, cached) and flags what’s broken, with one-click import straight into the Redirect Manager. Auto Internal Linking — suggesting and inserting relevant internal links as you publish — is a Pro feature.
WordPress 7.0 native (Pro AI features). Pro’s AI features route entirely through the WordPress AI Client and Abilities API — you pick your provider once under Settings → Connectors, and Sanctuary Tiger never calls an AI provider directly. The free plugin makes zero AI calls of any kind; nothing here requires an account or API key unless you’re using Pro’s AI tools.
No account, no API key, no license required for the free plugin. Automatically disables duplicate title/meta/canonical/OG/schema output from Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, Jetpack, and Google Site Kit if any of those are also active — so you never end up with two competing sets of tags.
A note on FAQ schema and llms.txt
Google retired the visible FAQ rich-result accordion on May 7, 2026 — but FAQPage schema remains valid and harmless to keep. Worth being direct about the rest, though: no search engine or AI vendor has confirmed that FAQ markup itself drives AI citation. What multiple independent 2026 studies agree on is that visible, well-structured answer content is what gets cited — the markup describes it, it doesn’t create it. We keep FAQPage schema available because it’s free to include and accurately describes real content, not because it’s a confirmed citation lever.
Google’s own June 2026 guidance is also explicit that it does not use llms.txt for Search or AI Overviews, and has no plans to. If you want one anyway for other AI tools that do read it, you’re welcome to add it manually — it won’t help or hurt with Google either way.
What’s included:
Document title tags, with safe fallback handling for themes that don’t declare title-tag support
Meta descriptions, with sensible fallbacks (excerpt, term description, author bio)
Canonical URLs on every page and post type
Robots meta — correct index/noindex handling on search, 404, and attachment pages automatically
Open Graph and Twitter Card tags
Core Schema.org structured data: Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, WebPage/WebSite, BreadcrumbList, Article, and FAQPage
XML sitemaps
A database-backed 301/302 redirect manager, including wildcard matching and per-redirect hit counts
A one-click broken-internal-link scanner and cleanup tool
Real-time SEO health checks for thin content, missing titles, and duplicate meta descriptions
Real-time readability & content analysis in the post editor — focus keyword placement (with word-form matching, so “coach” also recognizes “coaches” or “coaching”), keyword density, reading ease score, sentence length, passive voice, transition words, paragraph length, and subheading distribution, all scored live as you write
Automatic alt text fallback — fills in missing image alt text on upload from the attachment title or filename, plus a Media Library bulk action to backfill existing images. Never overwrites alt text you’ve already set.
A visual robots.txt editor
Settings import/export
Migrate Data — copies titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, and Open Graph fields over automatically from Yoast SEO or Rank Math, so switching plugins doesn’t mean starting from scratch
Optional Pro add-on
An optional Pro add-on is available separately (not through WordPress.org) for sites that want AI-assisted writing tools, AI Mention & GEO tracking with an AI Citation Optimizer, advanced Schema types (Service, Book, Events, Courses, Products, Reviews, Video, Podcast), Auto Internal Linking, Core Web Vitals monitoring, multi-location SEO, programmatic page generation, Google Search Console rank tracking, and other advanced features. The free plugin works completely independently of it.

External Services
This plugin connects to the following external services under specific conditions:
WordPress AI Client (optional, Pro add-on only)
AI-powered features (Pro add-on only) are routed entirely through the WordPress AI Client (built into WordPress 7.0+). The site owner selects and configures their AI provider once at Settings → Connectors. Neither the free plugin nor the Pro add-on contacts any AI provider’s API directly — all requests go through the WordPress AI Client, using whichever provider the site owner has configured there.

Broken link checker
When the site owner manually runs a scan, the plugin sends HTTP HEAD requests to the URLs found in the site’s own published content to check whether each link still responds. No data about your site or visitors is transmitted beyond the standard HTTP request. Requests use WordPress’s safe HTTP API, which blocks requests to private/internal network addresses.
Canonical URL scanner
When the site owner manually runs it, the plugin fetches your own site’s XML sitemap to compare declared canonical URLs. It only requests URLs on your own domain, and only when you choose to run the scan.
