RechtsRadar Shop-Check tests your website against the statutory duties that apply to German online shops, for example imprint, withdrawal instructions, price indication and accessibility information.
You start the check yourself with a button in the admin area. The result appears on the same page: how many findings are documented breaches, how many are hints, how many need a manual look, and how many passed.
This is a technical check. It is not legal advice and not a legal service within the meaning of the German Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz.
The full report (“Prüfbericht”), with the name of each finding, where it was found and how to fix it, is a paid product on rechtsklar24.de. The check inside this plugin is free and does not require an account.
The plugin interface is in German, because the checked duties are German law.
External service
This plugin sends a request to rechtsklar24.de, a service operated by Rainer Lang, in order to run the check.
When: only after you click the check button in the admin area. Never automatically, never on the front end.
What is sent: the base address of this website (scheme and domain, for example https://example.de/) and the plugin version. Nothing else. No customer data, no order data, no product data, no login data, no page content.
Why: the service opens your shop like a normal visitor and evaluates the publicly visible pages.
