RecallLens lets your visitors instantly check whether a product, brand, or item has been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) — right on your site.
Great for parenting blogs, deal sites, product-review sites, resellers, and safety-focused pages.
Add it anywhere with the [recall_lens] shortcode or the RecallLens – CPSC Product Recall Search Gutenberg block.
Visitors type a product, brand, or item; results show the recall title, date, hazard, remedy, and a link to the official CPSC notice.
Recall data is cached on your server for fast responses and to minimize external requests.

Free vs Pro
Free: the complete recall-search widget — unlimited searches and results, shortcode + Gutenberg block, cached for speed. No feature limits.
Pro (optional): adds a CSV export of the search results. (More Pro features planned.) Pro is entirely optional — the free plugin is fully functional on its own.

This plugin connects to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) public recall API to retrieve recall information.

What is sent, and when: when a visitor performs a search (or when the server refreshes its hourly recall cache), the plugin requests recent recall records. Only the standard request is made; the visitor’s search terms are matched locally on your server against the cached list — your visitors’ search terms are not transmitted to CPSC.
