PT Variants是一種將1990年的葡萄牙正字法套用到WordPress上的方法。此外，它還可以套用非正式葡萄牙語版本（由Nuno Barreiro維護，遵循AO90前的規範）。
外掛所包含的語言文件是從WordPress的官方語言庫（GlotPress）中匯出的，由葡萄牙WordPress社區的翻譯團隊維護。使用Lince軟體（由ILTEC開發）轉換AO90版本。
由於並非每個文件都有100％的翻譯，所以可能會在默認的WordPress語言中發現某些文本沒有翻譯。

PT Variants allows you to choose the Portuguese variant that best suits your needs when using WordPress in Portuguese. Although there is no official variant of Portuguese in Portugal, you can now choose between the default (based on the 1945 norm, reviewed in 1973), the Portuguese Orthographic Agreement (1990) form, or Informal Portuguese. This project is curated by the WordPress Portuguese Community. If you find it useful or if there's something wrong, let us know!
The language files included with this plugin are exported from the official WordPress repository (GlotPress). Not every file has 100% of the strings translated, therefore you may come across some text that remains in the default WordPress language.
The Portuguese Orthographic Agreement form is obtained by conversion with Lince software, developed by ILTEC.
The ideas behind PT Variants were suggested by Bernhard Kau's plugin, textdomain-overwrite, which is available on GitHub.

PT Variants é uma forma de aplicar o Acordo Ortográfico de 1990 ao WordPress em português de Portugal. Também permite aplicar uma versão de português informal (mantida pelo Nuno Barreiro e que segue a norma pré-AO90).
Os ficheiros de linguagem incluídos com o plugin são exportados do repositório oficial de línguas do WordPress (GlotPress), mantido pela equipa de tradução da Comunidade Portuguesa de WordPress. A versão AO90 é convertida usando o Lince, desenvolvido pelo ILTEC.
Nem todos os ficheiros têm 100% das frases traduzidas, pelo que é possível que subsistam algumas na versão padrão.
