Block Options – Settings
The Portfolio Block is packed with settings and style options, so you can customize the portfolio to your liking. However, some of the options are only available in the Pro Version of the plugin. The options are listed below:
SETTINGS
Select a Post Type – Select the post type to display in your portfolio.
Select a Taxonomy – Select the post type taxonomy displayed.
Select Categories – Check the categories to be displayed in the portfolio.
Select Post Order – Select the order in which the portfolio items are displayed.
Randomize Order (Pro Feature) – Toggle random organization of portfolio.
Maximum Number Posts – Enter a maximum number of items displayed in the portfolio.
Offset Posts – Enter the number of posts you would like to offset. The default is 0.
Unique Portfolio ID – Enter a unique CSS identifier for your portfolio.
DISPLAY OPTIONS
Filter Portfolio by Taxonomy (Pro Feature) – Toggle to enable a filterable portfolio for your selected categories.
Filter Search Field (Pro Feature) – Toggle the display of a search field for portfolio filtering, requires filter option toggled on.
Portfolio Title – Toggle the display of the portfolio post title.
Portfolio Categories – Toggle the display of the assigned portfolio categories.
Portfolio Excerpt – Toggle the display of the portfolio post excerpt.
Pinterest Button – Toggle the display of the “Pin” button for posting to Pinterest.
Portfolio Link – Toggle whether or not the portfolio links to the individual post.
Portfolio Pagination (Pro Feature) – Toggle whether or not pagination is displayed for the portfolio block.
Show Portfolio Content On Hover – Toggle whether or not the portfolio content is only displayed when hovering over the portfolio item.
LAYOUT OPTIONS
Content Position – Select whether the portfolio content is displayed above, below, or overlayed on top of the portfolio image.
Masonry Grid Layout (Pro Feature) – Toggle the masonry layout, whcih organizes all portfolio items together seamlessly regadless of dimensions.
Columns – Choose the number of columns for your portfolio layout. Choosing more than 2 columns requires a Pro License.
Gutter Width – Enter a number of pixels for spacing between your portfolio items.
Block Options – Styles
DIMENSIONS
Padding – Apply vertical or horizontal padding to the block.
Margin – Apply vertical or horizontal margin to the block.
TYPOGRAPHY
Title HTML Heading Tag (Pro Feature) – Select the HTML heading tag for the portfolio item. This option exists for SEO purposes.
Title Font Size (Pro Feature) – Enter the title font size in pixels.
Excerpt Font Size (Pro Feature) – Enter the excerpt font size in pixels.
Categories Font Size (Pro Feature) – Enter the category link font size in pixels.
COLORS
Title Color – Change the color of the portfolio title.
Excerpt & Category Color – Change the color of the portfolio excerpt and category text.
Pin Icon Color – Change the color of the Pinterest icon.
Background Color – Change the background color of the portfolio block.
Filter Button Text Color – Change the color of the button text for the filterable portfolio.
Filter Button Background – Change the background color of the buttons for the filterable portfolio.
Content Background Color – Change the background color that display behind the portfolio text.
Content Background Opacity – Adjust the transparency of the background color behind the text.
BORDERS & SHADOWS
Border Color – Change the color of the portfolio item border.
Shadow Color – Change the color of the portfolio item drop shadow.
Border Radius (Pro Feature) – Change the border radius for the portfolio item.
Border Width (Pro Feature) – Change the width of the border for the portfolio item.
Shadow Size (Pro Feature) – Change the size and spread of the shadow for the portfolio item.
CONTENT PADDING
Horizontal Padding – Set the horizontal padding for the portfolio item content.
Vertical Padding – Set the vertical padding for the portfolio item content.
Use of External Services
This plugin includes the Pinterest sharing button, which relies on Pinterest’s external service to share portfolio images directly to Pinterest.
The Pinterest button is included to allow users to easily share their portfolio content on Pinterest.
When this button is clicked, the user’s browser communicates with Pinterest’s servers.

Follow the simple steps below to begin using the PortfolioWP Portfolio Block:
Navigate to any page or post using the Gutenberg block editor.
Within the editor, click the “+” button to add a new block.
Search “Portfolio” within the list of available blocks.
Choose the desired block.
Setup the block as instructed.
