This plugin connects to several third‑party services to provide its core functionality. For each service, we list what it does, what data is sent, when it is sent, and provide links to the service’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Google YouTube Data API v3
Purpose: To fetch video details (title, duration, thumbnails, statistics) when users import YouTube content or embed a YouTube video in the player.
Data Sent: The YouTube video ID(s), your plugin’s API key (provided by the site administrator), and the requested video metadata fields.
When: Every time a YouTube video is loaded or imported via the plugin’s interface.

2. ElevenLabs Text‑to‑Speech API
Purpose: To retrieve the list of available voices for text‑to‑speech conversion, allowing users to select a preferred voice.
Data Sent: The request includes the API key (configured by the admin) and may transmit the user’s selected language/preferences when fetching voices.
When: When the voice selection dropdown is loaded in the admin interface (or on page load if the widget is active).

3. HearThis.at API
Purpose: To resolve and play audio tracks hosted on HearThis.at within the player.
Data Sent: The HearThis track URL (publicly shared) is transformed to an API endpoint to obtain the actual audio file URL.
When: When a user plays a HearThis track using the player.

4. Mixcloud API & Widget
Purpose: To fetch Mixcloud track data and embed the Mixcloud widget player for tracks hosted on Mixcloud.
Data Sent: The Mixcloud track URL (public) is used to construct API requests; the widget iframe loads with the public track identifier. No personal user data is sent.
When: When a Mixcloud track is loaded or played via the plugin.

5. Spotify Embed API
Purpose: To embed the Spotify player for podcast episodes or music tracks hosted on Spotify.

When: When a Spotify track or podcast episode is loaded in the player.

6. Vimeo Player API
Purpose: To embed and control Vimeo video playback (play, pause, progress, etc.) within the plugin’s player.

7. SoundCloud Widget API / oEmbed
Purpose: To embed SoundCloud audio players for tracks, playlists, or user content hosted on SoundCloud.

When: When a SoundCloud track is loaded or played via the plugin.
