原文外掛簡介
MirrAR Virtual Try On is a WooCommerce plugin that adds a live augmented reality (AR) Try On button to your product pages. Shoppers press it and see the product on themselves through their camera, in real time: necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, bangles, wrist watches, eyewear, coloured eye lenses and cosmetics. The try-on opens in an overlay on the product page and runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, so shoppers never leave your shop and never install an app.
It is built for jewellery (jewelry) stores, watch stores, eyewear and optical stores, and beauty stores that sell on WordPress with WooCommerce. The plugin is free; the try-on runs on a paid MirrAR plan with a 14-day free trial. See MirrAR pricing.
Why stores add virtual try-on
The question that stops an online jewellery or eyewear sale is “how will this look on me?” A product photo cannot answer it. A live try-on can. The shopper sees the necklace on their own neck, the frames on their own face and the watch on their own wrist, and decides with more confidence.
How it works
Install the plugin. In Plugins → Add New, search for “MirrAR Virtual Try On”, install and activate. WooCommerce must be active.
Approve your shop once. In your MirrAR account, open the WooCommerce VTO Connector, enter your shop address and press Approve. The plugin connects itself. There is no API key or secret to copy and paste.
Publish try-ons. Choose products in MirrAR try-on prep and publish them. A Try On button appears on those products in your shop within seconds.
A live mirror on every product page
The shopper presses Try On, allows the camera, and the product appears on their face, neck, ears, hand or wrist. It moves with them as they turn, like a mirror. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile.
What shoppers can try on
Jewellery: necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and bangles
Watches: wrist watches, shown on the wrist at true scale
Eyewear: glasses and sunglasses, as full 3D frames that turn with the head or as 2D front and side views
Eye lenses: coloured contact lens shades
Makeup: lipstick, eyeshadow and eyeliner shades
2D try-on goes live as soon as your product images are uploaded to MirrAR. You can also use your own 3D models for jewellery, watches and eyewear.
What shoppers can do in the try-on
Wear a full look. Several pieces at once: a necklace with earrings, or rings, bracelets and a watch together.
Compare two pieces. Split-screen compare on the same face, on desktop and mobile.
Capture and share. Take a photo, download it, or share it to WhatsApp and Facebook.
Use any camera. Front and rear camera, with zoom.
Plugin features
Connects itself. Approve your shop once from the WooCommerce connector in MirrAR. The plugin collects its own credentials during approval. Nothing to copy and paste.
Automatic Try On buttons. When you publish a product’s try-on in MirrAR, its Try On button appears on your shop within seconds, and disappears again if you unpublish it.
You stay in control. Switch try-on on or off for any single product by hand. Your choice always wins over the automatic setting.
Automatic SKU matching. Products are matched by their own SKU. A variable product with no SKU of its own is matched by its variations’ SKUs. Nothing to map or set up.
Works with variable products. One Try On button per product.
Product pages and product lists. Show the Try On button on single product pages, on shop and category lists, or both.
Button styling with live preview. Set colours, text, icon, borders, padding and shadow so the button matches your theme.
Loads only where needed. The try-on script loads only on pages that show a Try On button.
No permalink or .htaccess changes. The try-on opens in an overlay and needs no rewrite rules.
Stays in step with your MirrAR account. If you disconnect the shop, move it to another MirrAR account or revoke the key in WooCommerce, the plugin notices and switches try-on off (or over) by itself.
Clean uninstall. Deleting the plugin removes all the data it stored.
Included with your MirrAR plan
These are set up in your MirrAR account, not in the plugin:
Your brand on the try-on. Your logo and three brand colours across the try-on screen.
Try-on analytics and leads. See which pieces are tried on most, and receive enquiries with the product attached.
Pricing
The plugin is free. The try-on runs on a MirrAR plan, priced by the number of products you put on try-on. Every plan includes every feature, unlimited try-ons and a 14-day free trial.

Privacy
The plugin itself sends no customer data and no order data to MirrAR. To connect, you approve a read-only WooCommerce REST API key for MirrAR, which MirrAR uses to read your products and SKUs. The Try On button script is loaded from MirrAR on pages that show the button, and the visitor’s camera is used only after the visitor presses Try On. Full details are in the External services section below. We recommend mentioning MirrAR in your shop’s privacy policy.
Requirements
WordPress 6.5 or later
PHP 7.4 or later
WooCommerce, installed and active
A MirrAR account with the WooCommerce VTO Connector
SKUs on the products you want try-on for
About MirrAR
MirrAR (mirrar.ai) is an augmented reality and AI commerce company based in Chennai, India, operated by MirrAR Innovation Technologies Private Limited. MirrAR builds virtual try-on for jewellery and eyewear, and Smart Mirror kiosks for retail stores. This plugin brings MirrAR virtual try-on to WooCommerce shops. The official MirrAR website is mirrar.ai. MirrAR is not affiliated with any other try-on app, plugin or website that uses a similar name.
External services
This plugin relies on the MirrAR service to show virtual try-on. It connects to it in the following ways.
MirrAR API — app.mirrar.ai
Used to connect the shop to your MirrAR account and to keep the Try On buttons up to date. Requests are made from your server, only while the shop is being connected or is connected:
When the shop is connected: your site address, the last seven characters of the “MirrAR Virtual Try-On” WooCommerce key and a signature made with that key’s secret (the secret itself is never sent), plus the plugin, WooCommerce and WordPress version numbers.
To sign in: the store’s Client ID and Client Secret, which the plugin receives automatically when you approve the shop, exchanged for an access token.
Every five minutes, and when MirrAR signals a change: your site address, to check that the shop is still connected and to read which product SKUs have a try-on ready.
When the plugin is activated, deactivated or deleted, or MirrAR’s key is revoked: your site address and which of these happened.
The plugin sends no customer or order data.
MirrAR can also send your shop a notice at /wp-json/mirrar/v1/tryon-sync when a try-on changes. It carries no data; the plugin answers it by reading the list above with its own credentials.
WooCommerce REST API access for MirrAR
When you approve your shop in the WooCommerce VTO Connector, WooCommerce asks you to grant read access to “MirrAR Virtual Try-On”. This creates a read-only REST API key that MirrAR uses from its servers to read your products, variations and SKUs so it can prepare try-ons. Note that WooCommerce’s read permission is not limited to products. You can see or revoke the key at any time in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
MirrAR Try On button — app.mirrar.ai and your MirrAR store address
On pages that show a Try On button, the script https://app.mirrar.ai/XR/vto/mirrar-tryon-button.min.js is loaded in the visitor’s browser. Loading it sends MirrAR the visitor’s IP address and standard browser information, as with any web request. When a visitor presses Try On, the try-on opens from your MirrAR store address with the product’s SKU and, once the visitor allows it, uses the visitor’s camera for the live try-on. If the visitor chooses to share a photo to WhatsApp or Facebook, it is shared through that service and its own terms apply.
