Configuration
Follow these steps to set up the plugin for the first time:
Step 1 – Get an API Key
– Choose an AI provider from the list below and sign up for an account to obtain an API key (or endpoint for Ollama). Free tiers are available for most providers.
* Groq: console.groq.com/keys
* Google Gemini: aistudio.google.com
* DeepSeek: platform.deepseek.com
* OpenAI: platform.openai.com
* Azure OpenAI: azure.microsoft.com/services/openai
* Anthropic Claude: console.anthropic.com
* Cohere: dashboard.cohere.com
* HuggingFace: huggingface.co/settings/tokens
* Ollama: Install Ollama on your server (default endpoint: http://localhost:11434/api/generate)
Step 2 – Enter the API Key
– In the WordPress admin, go to WooMaster → AI Settings.
– Select your preferred AI provider from the dropdown.
– Paste the API key (or Ollama endpoint) into the API Key field.
– Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Step 3 – Test the Connection
– After saving, switch to the API Status tab (under WooMaster → AI Content Manager → API Status).
– Click Test Connection for the provider you configured, or use Test All Connections to verify all providers.
– A green “Connected” badge indicates success.
Step 4 – Customize Prompts (Optional)
– In AI Settings, you can edit the default prompts for titles, short descriptions, and full content.
– Use placeholders like {title}, {content}, {price}, and {sku} to include product data in your prompts.
Step 5 – Adjust Advanced Settings
– Temperature: Controls creativity (0.0 = deterministic, 1.0 = very creative). Default 0.7 works well for most cases.
– Max Tokens: Sets the maximum length of the generated text. Increase for longer descriptions.
– Auto Fallback: When enabled, the plugin will automatically try other configured providers if the selected one fails.
Usage
Single Product Content Generation
1. Go to WooMaster → AI Content Manager → Content Editor.
2. Find the product you want to edit (use filters to narrow down by category or stock status).
3. In the Operation column, click the AI Operation button.
4. Choose what to generate: Title generation, Summary production, or Content production.
5. A modal window will appear with a side‑by‑side preview (current vs. AI‑generated content). Review the SEO analysis below.
6. If satisfied, click Save and publish to replace the existing content.
Batch Processing for Multiple Products
1. Go to the Batch Processing tab.
2. Filter products by category and/or stock status.
3. Select the field to generate (title, excerpt, or content).
4. Choose an AI provider and optionally enter a custom prompt.
5. Click Start batch processing. The progress bar will update in real time.
6. Results will be shown after completion, including counts of successful and failed products.
View Reports and Usage Statistics
– The Reports tab displays total requests, daily/weekly/monthly usage, provider distribution, field usage, and recent errors.
– You can export statistics or clear them using the buttons at the bottom.
API Status Monitoring
– Use the API Status tab to see at a glance which providers are configured and whether they are connected.
– Test individual connections or run a full test to diagnose issues.
Troubleshooting
API connection fails
– Double‑check that you have entered the correct API key (or Ollama endpoint).
– Ensure your server can reach the provider’s API (firewall, DNS, etc.).
– For Ollama, make sure the service is running and the endpoint is correct.
– Try switching to a different provider.
No content generated
– Verify that the product has at least a title and some basic information.
– Check if the API key is valid and the provider has remaining credits/quota.
Batch processing stops unexpectedly
– Increase the PHP execution time and memory limit on your server.
– Try processing smaller batches (e.g., 5 products at a time).
Content appears truncated
– Increase the Max Tokens setting in AI Settings to allow longer responses.
– Some providers have built‑in token limits – check their documentation.
