LWN Recipe is a free, lightweight recipe plugin built for one job: getting your recipes to look great on your site and rank well in Google.
Get found in search. Every recipe automatically outputs Recipe schema.org / JSON-LD markup – the structured data Google uses to show rich results like star ratings, cook time, and photos directly in search. No separate SEO plugin, no manual code.
Pick a design, not a page builder. Choose from 5 ready-made recipe page layouts – Card, Editorial, Recipe Card, Split Screen, and Timeline – right from your settings page. Every layout is fully responsive and print-friendly, and you can switch anytime without touching a single template file.
Works the way you already work. Enter recipes through the classic metabox fields or the block editor’s Recipe Meta block – your choice. Recipe pages render correctly on both classic themes and modern block themes (like Twenty Twenty-Five), including your site’s real header and navigation.
