Livo Story turns your WooCommerce products into short, vertical videos — the story format shoppers already know from Instagram and TikTok — so they can watch a quick video and add the product to their cart without ever leaving it.
Drop the [livostory-stories] shortcode anywhere on your site: a row of stories appears, each one linked to a product. Click a story to open it full-screen, with a buy button right inside, ready to add that product to the cart.
Three ways to show your stories
Stories carousel — a horizontal, swipeable row of square cards.
Rounded slides — the same row with circular thumbnails, Instagram-style.
Grid — stories laid out in columns instead of a row, with the column count set separately for desktop and mobile.
Built for buying, not just watching
The buy button adds the product straight to the cart, with full support for variable products — the card expands in place so the shopper can pick attributes before adding to cart.
Need more than a variation picker? The livostory_extra_cart_fields filter lets a theme or another plugin add store-specific fields (an activation date, for example) to the add-to-cart card, with no changes to Livo Story’s own code.
The buy button’s color and label are customizable from Settings, to match your store’s branding.
Everything else you’d expect from a stories plugin
Optional navigation arrows and auto-advance for the carousel row, with a configurable delay.
Autoplay, loop, muted-on-hover and video controls — each toggled independently in Settings.
An admin dashboard with views, watch time, completion rate and a “most added to cart” ranking per story, to see which stories actually drive sales.
Manage every story from one screen: search, filter by status, and drag to reorder.
