This plugin connects the website of a French accounting firm to Plateforme de Com’, the
communication platform of L’Agence des Experts-Comptables.
When the firm creates an event, a survey, a referral or a recommendation campaign in the
platform, the platform sends it to this site. The plugin creates the matching WordPress
page with the campaign widget inside, and returns the page URL. The firm uses that URL as
a link in its emailings and text messages.
The plugin only receives. It never calls the platform on its own.
What it does
Creates, updates and deletes campaign pages on request of the platform, authenticated
with an API key.
Gives each page a readable address built from the campaign type and its title, for
example /evenement-portes-ouvertes/. The address is set once, at creation, and never
changes afterwards: links already sent out keep working even if the title is corrected.
Keeps those pages out of menus, search results, sitemaps (WordPress core, Yoast SEO and
Rank Math) and the public REST listing, and marks them noindex. They stay published
and reachable by their link, which is the whole point.
Shows the widget alone on the page: the site header and footer stay, the theme title and
content margins are removed.
Stores the API key encrypted with a key derived from the site’s own salts.
The widget is inserted as a shortcode, so the site owner can write anything around it.
Later updates from the platform only refresh the shortcode and leave the rest untouched.
Who it is for
An account on the Plateforme de Com’ is required; the plugin has no use without one. The
plugin interface is in French, like the platform itself.
External services
This plugin works with Plateforme de Com’, operated by L’Agence des Experts-Comptables.
Incoming — page synchronisation. The platform (clients.lagence.expert) calls this site
to create, update or delete campaign pages. It authenticates with the API key you paste in
the plugin settings. The plugin answers those calls and returns the identifier and URL of
the page it created. The plugin never sends anything to the platform on its own initiative
and makes no outgoing request of its own.
Outgoing — widget script on the front end. Every page created by the platform embeds a
campaign widget. When a visitor opens such a page, their browser loads the widget script
from the matching platform host — widget-event.lagence.expert, widget-survey.lagence.expert,
widget-sponsorship.lagence.expert or widget-recommendation.lagence.expert — which then
renders the campaign. The platform therefore receives the visitor’s IP address and browser
user agent, and, if the visitor fills in the campaign form (event registration, survey
answer, referral), the data they enter. Nothing is loaded on any other page of the site.
