What Lite does
Optimizes new supported image uploads automatically.
Converts eligible JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images to optimized WebP output.
Preserves animated GIF files by skipping them.
Applies maximum width and height limits when configured.
Lets you control WebP quality.
Can crop portrait images to a practical ratio when enabled.
