Ikaros AI Manifest is a WooCommerce plugin that integrates with AI agents through structured data and AI discovery endpoints. It serves .well-known/ai-commerce.json, provides bot analytics, and exposes product catalog data for AI discovery workflows.
What it does:
* Serves .well-known/ai-commerce.json manifest for AI agent discovery
* Implements Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI tool integration
* Implements Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) for AI shopping capabilities
* Uses Google Gemini API to generate product summaries (explicit user action only)
* Adds structured data (JSON-LD) to product pages with generated content
* Detects and logs interactions from known AI crawlers (Google, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) when tracking is enabled
* Provides a Dashboard with visibility score, category breakdown, trending bots, and endpoint insights
* Provides Analytics with date ranges, intent classification, bot distribution, and activity log

How to configure:
1. Install and activate the plugin
2. Go to Ikaros AI → Settings
3. Enter your Google Gemini API key
4. In the product editor, click “Generate Summary” to create AI-generated product descriptions
5. (Optional) Enable Bot activity tracking in Ikaros AI → Settings → Features
6. Open Ikaros AI → Dashboard for visibility and bot overview metrics
7. Open Ikaros AI → Analytics for detailed activity, intent, charts, and exports
8. The plugin automatically adds generated content to your product metadata and structured data
Data collection:
This plugin can log when known AI crawlers visit your shop. Logging is disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings → Features.
Stored fields in bot logs:
* Bot name (detected from user agent)
* User agent string (truncated)
* Visited endpoint/path
* Request method
* Timestamp
* Product ID (when applicable)
Cookie usage:
* ikaros_bot_ref (30 days) may be set when AI-assisted buy links are used, to support AI-attributed checkout flows.
No analytics JavaScript or third-party tracking pixels are injected on the frontend by this plugin.
Site owners are responsible for configuring consent/privacy notices as required by local law.
