IAEMPOWER AI Compliance helps agencies, publishers, and content teams build a reviewable workflow for image-origin transparency in WordPress.
The plugin scans the Media Library, organises images for human review, records classification decisions, and can apply a visible disclosure to selected images. It is designed to support transparency workflows related to the EU Artificial Intelligence Act and similar requirements.
Important: IAEMPOWER AI Compliance is a workflow and traceability tool. It is not an automatic AI-image detector, does not provide legal advice, and does not create, automate, or guarantee legal compliance.
Lite features
Scans the WordPress Media Library and creates an image inventory.
Identifies whether an image appears to be used in published public content.
Surfaces evidence hints found in filenames, image metadata, or alternative text.
Keeps the final classification decision under human control.
Records the reviewer, review date, selected status, and available evidence.
Supports individual and bulk classification actions.
Processes selected disclosure actions progressively through AJAX.
Applies a visible disclosure to images classified as AI generated, AI manipulated, or partially AI generated/manipulated.
Creates a local backup before modifying an original image.
Restores the clean original from the protected backup.
Stores machine-readable traceability data in WordPress and adds IPTC metadata to supported JPEG files.
Makes no external API calls in the Lite version. Processing remains on your WordPress server.

The plugin can surface contextual evidence, such as relevant terms found in a filename or image metadata, but it does not automatically decide whether an image was generated by AI. The responsible user reviews the available information and records the final classification.
Local and reversible workflow
Before applying a visible disclosure, the plugin creates a local copy of the original file in a dedicated backup directory. If a classification or disclosure needs to be corrected, an administrator can restore the clean original from the inventory.
Pro plans
The WordPress.org version includes the Lite features listed above. IAEMPOWER AI Compliance Pro is available separately as an early-adopter release, with four plan tiers based on the number of sites: Freelance, Growth, Agency, and Enterprise.
Pro adds:
Advanced automation for classification and disclosure workflows.
Exportable audit reports (CSV or PDF).
