原文外掛簡介

Hwinote iCatch Editor adds a browser-based canvas editor to the WordPress administration screen. It can create and edit featured images, edit selected Image blocks, and edit images from the Media Library without using an external image-generation service.
Open the editor from

The featured-image panel of a supported post type.
A selected Image block in the Block Editor, when Image block integration is enabled.
The detailed edit screen of an image in the Media Library.

Canvas and background

Image-size presets and custom canvas sizes up to 4000 x 4000 pixels.
Background images from the current featured image, Media Library, or computer upload.
Solid background color mode.
Background zoom, position, brightness, contrast, saturation, and blur.
Background behavior selection when the canvas size changes.
Interactive background crop with free, 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 ratios.
Display-only preview zoom that does not change the saved image dimensions.

Text and drawing tools

Article-title text with drag, resize, rotation, font, color, outline, shadow, and arch controls.
Horizontal and vertical text boxes.
Custom font-name input with recently used fonts saved per user.
Upload WOFF2, WOFF, TTF, or OTF font files for consistent same-site canvas rendering.
Rectangles, circles, ellipses, arrows, straight lines, double lines, dashed lines, dotted lines, wavy lines, and arrowed lines.
Speech bubbles with editable tails.
Circled-number, circled-uppercase, and circled-lowercase marker tools with selectable start values.

Image layers and crop

Add image layers from the Media Library, computer upload, or clipboard.
Copy a rectangular, circular, or elliptical canvas area and paste it as a new image layer.
Rectangle, rounded rectangle, circle, and ellipse display masks.
Non-destructive image-layer crop with an independent crop aspect-ratio lock.
Image border, corner radius, shadow, opacity, flip, position, size, and rotation controls.
Image-size aspect-ratio lock that can be switched on or off independently from crop settings.

Layers and editing workflow

Layer list with multiple selection.
Group and ungroup selected elements.
Duplicate a single layer or a complete group.
Show, hide, lock, delete, bring forward, and send backward.
Snapping and independently controlled guide lines.
Undo and Redo history.
Keyboard shortcuts and Escape-key priority handling.
Reset actions for the full editor and individual editing areas.
Pre-save checks and confirmation messages before saving or replacing media.

Saving and Media Library behavior

Generated images are registered as WordPress Media Library attachments.
WordPress attachment metadata and registered intermediate image sizes are regenerated after saving.
Featured-image saves set the generated attachment as the post thumbnail.
Image block editing can save a new attachment or directly replace the selected attachment.
Saving an Image block as a new image keeps the original attachment. Update the post to retain the new attachment in the block.
Direct replacement keeps the same attachment ID and updates the image file and metadata.
Media Library editing can save a new attachment or replace the original JPEG, PNG, or WebP image.
Direct replacement is unavailable for unsupported formats and source images wider or taller than 4000 pixels.
Output can use PNG, JPEG, or the source format where supported.

Important: saved images are flattened. Text, shapes, layers, crop settings, and history are not stored as an editable project that can be reopened later.
Important: direct replacement changes every place that uses the same Media Library attachment and cannot be undone by this plugin. Browser, server, or CDN caches may need to be cleared when an image is replaced at the same URL.
Device and language support

Desktop and tablet layouts are supported, including iPad and iPad Mini portrait and landscape orientations.
Editor launch controls are hidden on smartphones because the full canvas workflow is designed for a larger screen.
The source interface is English, and bundled Japanese translation files are included.

Privacy and external services
Hwinote iCatch Editor does not send images or editor content to an external image-generation service. Editing is performed in the browser, and generated images and uploaded font files are saved to the current WordPress site through WordPress.
