This plugin integrates the .NET version of the GroupDocs HTML5 document annotation tool into WordPress CMS. It allows your users to view, annotate, collaborate on and share over 50 types of documents and images right on your website.
Different from the cloud-based plugin released earlier, this one integrates the downloadable .NET library. The library can be deployed on-premises, meaning you can store and host documents locally.
Key Features & Benefits
Multiple File Formats Support. GroupDocs.Annotation enables your users to view and annotate literally all common business document and image file formats without the need to install the original software that they were created in. Supported file formats include: PDF and Microsoft Word documents, Excel and CSV spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, Visio diagrams, CAD drawings, raster images (TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP) and a lot more.
Cross-Platform Compatibility. Documents embedded to your website can be viewed and annotated from any HTML5-complient browser, including IE8+, FireFox, Chrome, Opera, Safari 5+ and their mobile versions.
Comprehensive Set of Annotation Tools. Users can add sticky notes, draw freehand lines, underline/strike out text, drop arrows, redact text and images, add watermarks, etc.
Real-Time Annotation Mode. The same document can be annotated by several users at a time. Users can easily invite others to review/annotate a document, reply to each other’s comments and then print, download or share the annotated document – all from within your website.
Support for Native PDF & Word Annotations. PDF or DOC/DOCX files annotated online can then be exported to a PDF or Word document respectively with the annotations in them for further offline editing.
Complete Control Over Document Security. GroupDocs.Annotation allows you to protect your content from unauthorized copying while still sharing it. Simply disable the document downloading, printing and text coping options, then add watermarks to protect your content from screen-grabbing. You can also control what access rights and functionality are available for what users.

各版本下載點
- 方法一：點下方版本號的連結下載 ZIP 檔案後，登入網站後台左側選單「外掛」的「安裝外掛」，然後選擇上方的「上傳外掛」，把下載回去的 ZIP 外掛打包檔案上傳上去安裝與啟用。
