這個外掛可以去除 WordPress 管理介面上「有新版 WordPress 可用，請升級」的提示。
主要針對擁有多個網誌的主機或管理者，其客戶可能並非網路或科技專業人士，一旦提示出現就很擔心他們的網誌無法運作。
當然，這不代表 WordPress 不應該盡快升級。使用這個外掛可以讓管理者有時間觀察、等待新版本中是否有任何新問題或錯誤，並在適合的時間做出升級。

This plugin suppresses the “There is a new version of WordPress available, please upgrade” notice in the Dashboard area of WordPress.
It is meant for use by a host or administrator who has many blogs to maintain for clients who are not neccessarily web- or tech-savvy and
worry that their blog will stop working if it is not updated straight away.
This is not to say that WordPress shouldn’t be upgraded, it should be upgraded as soon as possible, but use of this plugin allows the
administrator some breathing space from a torrent of panicky emails and allows the upgrades to be carried out a time that is suitable to him/her,
maybe after waiting to see if any new bugs or issues arise from the new version.
