A fast, honest product search field for your store:
Live suggestions with thumbnail, name and price as shoppers type
(from the second character, debounced, up to eight results).
Works without JavaScript: the field is a real product search form —
submitting it runs WordPress’ own product search.
Automatic placement on shop and category pages (toggleable), and a
[gatemi_product_search] shortcode for anywhere else — a page holding
the shortcode suppresses the automatic copy.
One small stylesheet, one small script, no jQuery, nothing external.

There is a separate plugin, Gatemi Product Search for
WooCommerce,
sold on gatemi.com. It is a different plugin rather than an unlock —
nothing in this one is waiting to be switched on. It builds its own
inverted index: SKU, attribute and variation search with per-field
relevance weighting; AJAX product filters (category, tag, brand,
attribute, price, rating, sale, stock) with facet counts on cacheable
URLs; and search reports with CSV export.
