FlyBackup does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or website information to external servers. All backups are stored locally on your server in the /wp-content/uploads/flybackup/ directory. The plugin operates entirely within your WordPress installation and respects your privacy.
When you use the Pro version’s cloud storage features (coming soon), your backup files will be transmitted to your chosen cloud provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, or OneDrive) using their official APIs. You control which cloud services to use and can disconnect them at any time.
External Services
This plugin can optionally connect to third-party cloud storage services to store your backups remotely. These features are optional and disabled by default. No data is sent to external services unless you explicitly configure and enable cloud storage in the Pro version.
Supported Cloud Storage Providers
Amazon S3 (AWS)
Purpose: Store backup files in Amazon S3 buckets for secure cloud storage
Data Sent: Backup ZIP files are uploaded to your configured S3 bucket when cloud storage is enabled
When: Only when you enable S3 storage in Pro version and a backup is created or manually uploaded
Service Provider: Amazon Web Services, Inc.

Google Drive
Purpose: Store backup files in your Google Drive account

Authentication: Uses OAuth 2.0 with scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file (access only to files created by this plugin)

Purpose: Store backup files in your Dropbox account

Important Notes
