Remote featured images for WordPress and WooCommerce
Featured Image from URL (FIFU) lets you set a publicly accessible remote image as the featured image for a WordPress post, page, or supported custom post type. It also supports remote WooCommerce product and product category images. No original image upload is required.
FIFU integrates remote image URLs with WordPress featured image (post thumbnail) functionality, making them accessible to compatible themes and plugins. The original files remain on their source servers; FIFU may create WordPress attachment records for compatibility without downloading those files.

For the PRO list and slider functions, pass URL and alt-text lists as pipe-separated strings (for example, https://example.com/one.jpg|https://example.com/two.jpg), not PHP arrays.

FIFU Cloud is a separate service for sites that need managed image delivery. It is not required to use FIFU Free or remote featured images.
