Easy Digital Downloads is de facto the best solution for small ecommerce website.
But, as far I am concerned EDD has one big issue: the CTR (Click Through Rate) of the checkout /cart is not as good as it could be.
By doing a long serie of A/B experiments we improved the conversion rate by around 50%. ( depending from the websites we tested the cart abandon rate was 60-70%, after the make over we arrived to a very low 38% in a case and around 40-44% in others).
That was done by removing useless call-to-actions and other distraction and adding some content (social proof mainly).
This plugin is an important stepson to get that improvement.
