WordPress builds the permalink of a post from its full title, so a long title gives a long, ugly URL. Ecreate Auto Slug Creator is an automatic slug generator: it removes the stop words that add nothing, such as “the”, “and” and “for”, and keeps your permalinks short, clean and SEO friendly.
It works on posts, pages and WooCommerce products, and it can clean up the URLs of content you published long ago, with the old addresses redirected so nothing breaks.

The plugin works for posts and WooCommerce products, and it can also clean up the URLs of content you published before you installed it. Old URLs keep working, because WordPress redirects them to the new ones.
Features

Safe by default
Only new items are cleaned. URLs that are already published are never changed unless you ask for it.
A URL you typed in yourself is always left alone.

Titles in scripts that WordPress cannot convert to Latin letters are left as they are.
