EBE PAYGATE Checkout for WooCommerce allows your store to accept secure credit card payments via the PAYGATE payment platform.
PAYGATE is the payment platform operated by EBE Payment, the author of this plugin. WooCommerce is a trademark of Automattic Inc.; this plugin is an independent integration and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Automattic Inc.

Not yet supported:
Saved cards / tokenization. Card details are entered on PAYGATE’s own page and are never returned to the store, so there is nothing to save.
WooCommerce Subscriptions and other recurring payments. This is a redirect gateway with no stored payment method, so a renewal cannot be charged without the customer present.

External Services
This plugin connects to the PAYGATE payment platform, operated by EBE Payment at ebepayment.com. That connection is what the plugin is for: PAYGATE hosts the page where your customer enters their card details, and it is PAYGATE that takes the payment. The plugin cannot function without it.
When data is sent. Once, at the moment a customer places an order and selects PAYGATE as the payment method. Nothing is transmitted while a visitor is merely browsing your store, and nothing is transmitted in the background on a schedule.
What is sent. For each payment, the plugin sends to https://api.ebepayment.com:
the customer’s first and last name, as entered in the billing details
the customer’s billing email address
the customer’s billing phone number
the order total and its currency
a reference number generated by the plugin for that payment attempt
your store’s webhook and return URLs, so PAYGATE can report the result
What comes back. PAYGATE returns a payment page URL, and afterwards notifies your store of the result — the payment status, its transaction ID, the amount and the time it was paid. No card number, expiry date or security code is ever sent to, stored by, or passed through your store.
