預設情況下，在 Pantheon 托管的站點上啟用 EDD 會在儀表板上顯示一條通知，提示您的文件未受保護。這是因為 Pantheon 使用純 NGINX 伺服器，該伺服器會忽略 EDD 使用的 .htaccess 檔案來保護其上傳目錄。EDD Pantheon Compat 提供了一個簡單的相容性層，將標準的 EDD 存檔結構轉換為符合 Pantheon 受保護目錄結構的格式，讓您可以維護檔案安全性，並在 Pantheon 上仍然使用 EDD！

By default, activating EDD on a site hosted on Pantheon will result in a notice being displayed on the Dashboard informing you that your files aren’t protected. This is due to Pantheon using a pure NGINX server, which ignores the .htaccess file EDD uses to protect its upload directory. EDD Pantheon Compat provides a simple compatibility layer which converts the standard EDD archive structure to work with the Pantheon protected directory structure, allowing you to maintain file security, and still use EDD on Pantheon!
