Drag & Drop Featured Image Improved 是一款外掛，能夠在設定精選圖片時，幫您節省時間。它所做的就是將預設的「設定精選圖片」選項改成，一個包含 Plupload 拖曳區域的全新選項，就像您在媒體上傳時會使用的。

由於它使用 WordPress 預設的功能，因此它可以像一般上傳方式一樣壓縮所有大小，並且也會遵循任何自訂圖片尺寸的設定。

Drag & Drop Featured Image Improved is a plugin made to save you time when setting a featured image. What it does is simple, it replaces the default “Set featured image” metabox with a new one containing a Plupload drop area just like the one found in the media uploader. Based on Jonathan Lundström work and improved a little bit.
Since it uses the default WordPress functions it will compress all sizes just as the regular upload method would and it also respects any custom image sizes.
