Decanter Images converts JPEG and PNG images to WebP and AVIF when they are uploaded. Conversion runs on your own server using GD or Imagick; no external service is used.
Images are served with a element so each browser gets AVIF, WebP, or the original, in that order of preference.

Choose which source formats to convert (JPEG, PNG).
Set WebP and AVIF quality separately.
Keep or remove the original files (originals are kept by default).
A converted file larger than its original is discarded.
An admin notice is shown when the server cannot create WebP or AVIF.
